Twitter advice?

OK, folks. I've finally got two feet firmly planted in the 21st century. I picked up a very cool new phone over the weekend and it does texting and internet and I think I'm hooked up with all the latest social media. My question for you, dear reader, is what is the ultimate twitter feed -- the one that carries all the breaking news (Patrick Swayze died and ...did Obama really call Kanye a jackass?) but not a lot of BS? Nominations?

You could go to your regular sources for news on the 'net and see if any of them also tweet. (TIME Magazine and CNN do, for instance.)

Thanks. I'll take a look around (and, as it turns out, yes, he really did say that!).

That presidential utterance bugs me. Has he not learned anything from the Harvard professor debacle? Isn't he aware that anything the president says can be fair game in this wired day and age where "off the record" is no longer a guarantee of discretion?

That's why it surprised me.
