And the winner is...

Well, I have to admit to some surprise. My stats say a lot of people saw this post, but I only got four contenders for the book. I can only assume that maybe people don't really read books anymore -- at least not the paper versions. Perhaps the iPods, SmartPhones and Kindles are taking over the readers' market...

Anyway, you gotta love these odds. And without further ado, the lucky one of four is...

Lucy! Congrats, girl! I'll send the book off ASAP!

I enjoy reading and find that ipods etc are a complete mystery. I used to have long conversations with your mother on the phone, starting with "what are you reading these days". As you can imagine I miss her terribly!

She was an amazing reader -- even while her vision was all screwed up after her accident! I am still impressed by her determination to read!

BTW, I never answered the part about my favorite part of the Dracula legend...the thing that comes to mind was Renfield...many years ago, a friend of mine had a dog that liked to chomp at flies.

I asked them about the name Renfield and they referred me to the character in Dracula who ate flies. He was always sort of my favorite character after that.
