4 Bridges

It was a big disappointment this year. $5 to park and $5 to get in (and with no warning, no less!)? That's $15 for a couple, before buying even the first thing. Boo. I didn't go in, since I didn't have much time to spend and it wasn't worth it to pay that kind of price for a 30-minute spin through the exhibits. If they're going to keep this on the busiest weekend of the year (i.e. planting weekend, the first one after the holiday, etc...), I'll be sad to miss it every year, but what can I do? There's just too much other stuff going on! I'll be sorry to see it go...

Gah. I'm so glad I didn't go. Not that I had time with Scott bossing me around getting ready for this brunch thingy.

Oh BTW, I like that you went back to your old design. You can't beat it!

Yeah, we were sorry to have to pay the fees, but I figured it was a small price to pay to help keep this festival going in hard times. On the plus side, the kids' tent was fun for my older daughter.

Not that I in any way disapprove of your choice; it's a tough one.

Yeah, the only thing is that it's such a huge jump -- from zero to ten bucks (for a single person) in a single year? That's kind of extreme. I don't want to lose it either, but for people like me, who can only spin through, those prices are going to cut us out anyway.
