Dear US Captains of Industry,

All of you -- not just the bozos who are running Detroit into the ground -- need to watch this and think about it. Just maybe, the time has come for you to choose between your immense greed and your desire to run a healthy business.

Finally some business ethics! Perhaps CEOs here in the U.S. will get the message...

The first guy to drops his pay to be more in line with what his wage-earners are making could end up a national hero...

What's amazing to me is that our bloated business leaders expect and receive the staggering payouts even when their companies FAIL. You know I've made mistakes in my life and no one rewards me for them...I need a lawyer...;) It's crazy and I'm not surprised the entire house of cards is tumbling down.

A lot of similarities with Norwegian work life. We've had CEOs who eat lunch with the rest of the grunts. (Can't say I've seen our current one much in the employee cafeteria, but other presidents show up regularly.)

But that business of driving a company into the ground, getting fired for doing so and still getting a golden parachute has happened here and it sure does piss people off. I wish our gov't had more backbone when it comes to things like that. Labor Party, my ass. They don't do shit for the real laborers any more, IMO. Sorry, found a soap box. *kicks it out of sight*
