SHA-ZAM!

The iPhone (more here).

And Apple TV.

Wow.

UPDATE: I haven't had a chance to watch it yet (it's over an hour long), but DH (dear hubby) has, and he says (between fits of stunned speechlessness), that everyone needs to watch THIS (click on "watch iphone intro").

UPDATE 2: I just found an interesting link... Handicapping the race: iPhone markets and rivals
ps: my contract with Verizon is up this year. When the time comes, I'm prepared (attn: Ivan Seidenberg) to switch to Cingular if I have to. (Hell, I may not have a choice, given DH's response to the iPhone intro!)

I'm now watching Job's iPhone presentation (thanks for link, Alice!) and I'm definitely thinking that when my aging iPod finally croaks, it's going to be replaced with an iPhone.

The absolute best part, though? Steve Jobs making a crank call to Starbuck's. Hilarious! (At about 46 minutes in.)

I laughed out loud when he did that, Keera. "I'd like 4000 lattes to go, please!" LOL!

Okay, the more I read about this iPhone, the more I regret that I have a Razr (that with the SUCKY menus!), and an Axim. Well, I do like the Axim. But the iPhone - sexy! functional! Works w/Cingular!

I'm not going to be able to afford it for a couple of years (after the Axim dies?), by then it will either be in version 5 or 6 and even sexier, or we'll all be living in caves and cannibalizing each other (d.t. global climate change yadda yadda), so we'll see.

I'll spend the rest of the year figuring out how to afford the iPhone. I have have plenty of time, since my Verizon contract isn't up until November or December... maybe I'll end up with the 2nd gen iPhone instead of the early, buggy version...
