Bass Player

I went to the Chattanooga/SE Tennessee Film Commission's holiday party at Rhythm and Brews this evening. It wasn't really what I was expecting -- there was no program, but instead was all about the networking -- but there was a pretty cool band rockin' out for a while. I'm not a country music fan in any way, shape, or form, but The Rounders suprised me by setting my toe a-tappin'. They played all original tunes and it was pretty good stuff. This guy is their bass player, and he moved around quite a bit for a guy who had to hang onto an upright.

A serious case could be made for the Rounders being the best band in Chattanooga. They opened for Dwight Yoakam at the Tivoli, and they were pretty fantastic.

Bass Ape likes to play his bass while holding it over his head...
