The Dream

There was a wonderful Martin Luther King, Jr. Day march in Chattanooga this afternoon from the Mount Olivet Baptist Church to the Tivoli Theatre. The weather was great -- it was a gray day, but the light rain held off until after all the marchers were indoors. There were drummers and several color guards, we sang, we listened to a recording of Dr. King, and the program continued inside the theatre.

And on the blogosphere, Laini has some quotes up, the audio of King's speech — with subtitles — is available here (via AmericaBlog), and you can watch the video here (via Crooks & Liars). It gives me chills every time. I hope you had a great holiday!
